My journey into yoga began as a personal quest to heal from chronic back pain. Throughout this process, I discovered the importance of understanding human anatomy, proper alignment, and how meditation became a powerful tool for health and well-being. In fact, I believe meditation is the key to understanding life and learning how to use the mind to transform our reality at will. Conscious people are the best to have around, and yoga is a gateway to that awareness.

If  this “being present,” “setting an intention,” “straight spine,” “hip opening,” or “deep breathing” sound strange to you…then you definitely should start practicing yoga—not just as a sport, but because it open doors to healing and self awareness. The only truth you should listen is not outside.

When you know where to look, finding is easy!

Being present is really the only thing we do throughout our lives, but our minds often take us to wander into the past or future, worrying about things that don’t exist—like when you’re washing your hands or doing the dishes. It’s great to recall or plan for the future, but always from a place of presence and breath.

Currently, I’m in Fort Collins, working on the final details of this website and other projects I manage through my digital agency, www.yogaorsurf.com. This website is my contribution to the ecosystem, created to facilitate connections between allies, eliminate any digital gaps preventing online sales, and offer entrepreneurs the ability to sell products without needing inventory or knowledge of digital design.

I’m looking for more hotels, like Refugio del Sol, to collaborate with. There, we worked as partners, redesigning the space to give it a yoga and surf vibe while maintaining its authentic Costa Rican charm. In fact, we already have our first Surf Camp booked for the end of January.

I want to find business owners who want to integrate wellness into their offerings. I will help them with branding, products, and even digital sales if needed. I also want retreat leaders to find other guides so they can come to Costa Rica and share their knowledge. If it weren’t for the chance visit to my friend at Vida Asana, and the invitation from Jona Kest to stay at her YTT, I would still have mental blocks, like I did with handstands. I also attended a workshop on “Communication with Empathy,” and I want more people to connect, share activities, and come together in this movement of exercise, well-being, and love for our neighbors.

On The Hive, you can create a profile as a traveler, so other yogis and surfers can invite you to join them for a session. If you’re a local instructor or guide, you can list your schedule and options for people to book. I’d also love for property owners with spaces dedicated to yoga, whether it’s an Airbnb or a beautiful villa, to let us know so we can feature them on the platform.

I’m not trying to sell you a search engine or booking system. What I’m creating is a digital infrastructure for us to come together, so there’s no barrier to offering services immediately. If any challenges arise, my agency is here to offer guidance and provide whatever service you may need.
